P.C.C.M. #76 Part 5 On The A.P.R.R. - Sorting The Inbound Freight For Distribution To Consignees

Welcome back to the continuation of the inbound portion of  P.C.C.M. #76 on the A.P. R.R.

Today the crew will sort out the inbound freight from Selkirk....

AP SW1500 #100 with 1/87th Scale NJ NJ John at the throttle will start breaking down the train to classify it for the next days deliveries in and around Rock Ridge...

Here's the first set of moves in Rock Ridge Yard

Next move will be to get the PC covered hoppers with sand out of the yard...

A quick stop at CP South to chat with tower operator 1/87th Scale Rich regarding the move...

The KP&W block of cars are going to be moved, but not before we see the next move for those PC covered hoppers...

AP RS-1 #200 the "Spriit Of Jay" will head out to the engine terminal with the 4 PC covered hoppers loaded with sand from T&R Gravel.

The last move of the day will be to position the freight cars from the KP&W...

The yard moves have been made. AP SW1500 #100 and the caboose are now laid up on track 1 on the west ladder.

We'll end it here for today. Tomorrow the freight will head out to the consignees in and around Rock Ridge.

Don't forget to check out the inbound moves on Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. railroad. My favorite views on his railroad is the engine terminal! Not to be outdone is PC Ralph and his K.P. & W.  railroad. My favorite view? The car float! What's your favorite! Let them know on their blog!

Thanks for reading!

Acknowledge the work of #100's crew in sorting cars at Rock Rdige for delivery.

    West Mill out.

Great pics and video! I especially like the second photo of the crewmen conferring with all of the APPR equipment around them. I think my favorite Rock Ridge vantage point is the Tower in the third photo whee roll-bys are often featured!
