To recap, The APRR sent a TV Train on its inaugural run from Rock Ridge's Reynolds Intermodal Terminal to Selkirk. A block of TOFC cars went to Terminal Yard on the NYCTL and the rest were destined for Chicago and beyond. The APRR sent a manifest train with gondolas to West Mill on the KPD with scrap load to KP Steel. A block of empty gondolas headed to Terminal Yard via Selkirk on the NYCTL to be forwarded to North Side Yard on the LIRR. Some non-PCCM cars that were headed to Selkirk were classified for movements elsewhere...
Today's action starts with AP Manifest Train WR-4 Weehawken to Rock Ridge Yard. A pair of AP GP38-2's with 1:87 Engineer Dan and conductor Matt bringing the train to the yard...
AP Train WR-4 heads to Rock Ridge Yard....
Dan has arrived at the Rock Ridge Yard Limits and awaits the signal from the Tower Operator at CP Industrial South. The tower operator controls all routing into Rock Ridge Yard and coordinates it with the yardmaster of the day, NJ John!
AP MP15 #105 will break down the train and spot the cars in the yard. 1:87 Engineer Steve is in the cab to make the moves happen quickly and efficiently...
Dan and Matt stop at the yard office for some train orders before they head out...
AP RS-5 heads out to Shapeless Steel...
AP Train RS-5 is being held at West Harold due to oncoming traffic that will take the West Harold secondary...
Let's watch the arrival of Penn Central Train TV-10R to Reynolds Intermodal Terminal...
Empire Belt GP40 #8163 with 1:87 Engineer Norman awaits TV10-R to take siding so he can pull the caboose off the end of the train...
AP MP15's #106/107 will shove the intermodal train into the terminal. 1:87 Kai and Mark will make the moves...
Meanwhile, Dan and Matt have arrived at Shapeless Steel...
They cut the caboose and proceed to drop the cars from KP Steel along weith some non-PCCM gondolas...
The cars are spotted on track 1...
Dan and Matt pick up the caboose and proceed back to Rock Ridge Yard...
A short time later, Dan and Matt are back in the yard...
Norman adds the caboose back on to PC engine SD45 engine #6206...
The caboose is added to the engine and will head back to Weehawken for servicing and assignment...
Norman will head out after a short break at West Harold Tower...
Norman awaits the signal...
He gets the signal and heads out...
PC Engine #6206 proceeds east from the West Harold secondary track back to Weehawken...
PC SD45 heads out caboose lite...!
