Now the action heads out of West Mill down the river line to Weehawken.
Extra #3007 originated at West Mill after receiving a cut of cars from Terminal Yard and heads out on its way to Weehawken.
Extra #3007 is making the approach down the river line just outside of Weehawken
Once the train clears the approach to the north end of Weehawken, Extra #3007 will be routed into the yard.
A.P. #601 idles in the yard awaiting assignment. This engine, a GP60, is one of the heavy haulers on the line. In the next day or two, #601 will make a couple of runs to some local industries with some much needed freight.
Extra #3007 as cleared the yard entrance and will arrive on one of the many classification tracks in Weehawken.

Great to see the train on three layouts! As much as I appreciate all of the PC power, I am always admiring of the A.P.R.R. loco scheme on engines like #601
