P.C.C.M. 39G: Extra #3007 Arriving at Weehawken

Hello followers of the P.C.C.M Car movements! The action started at Terminal Yard on John's superb N.Y.C.T.L. layout:  http://newyorkcentrallayout.blogspot.com/ and continued out to West Mill on Ralph's highly detailed KP&W layout http://kingsportdivision.blogspot.com/

Now the action heads out of West Mill down the river line to Weehawken.

Extra #3007 originated at West Mill after receiving a cut of cars from Terminal Yard and heads out on its way to Weehawken.

Extra #3007 is making the approach down the river line just outside of Weehawken

Once the train clears the approach to the north end of Weehawken, Extra #3007 will be routed into the yard.

A.P. #601 idles in the yard awaiting assignment. This engine, a GP60, is one of the heavy haulers on the line. In the next day or two, #601 will make a couple of runs to some local industries with some much needed freight.

Extra #3007 as cleared the yard entrance and will arrive on one of the many classification tracks in Weehawken.

A train on a mission! Extra 3007 taking the curve near 69th St on the yard track

Extra #3007 has tied down in Weehawken for the day. There will be a crew change, a quick service at Richmond Hill Yard, then head back to West Mill with cars for both the KP&W and E.B.R.R.

Next up! Freight cars picked up from Weehawken and delivered to Rock Ridge Yard on the A.P.R.R. Stay tuned for the next installment of P.C.C.M. #39!

    West Mill out.

Great to see the train on three layouts! As much as I appreciate all of the PC power, I am always admiring of the A.P.R.R. loco scheme on engines like #601

  3. Agree with Sir John, nicely done segment! I used to work for Abbott Laboratories back in the day. Nice looking boxcar. Your PC motive power fleet is coming along nicely as well 😃
