Welcome back to the final inbound portion of P.C.C.M. #85 on the Atlantic Pacific Railroad. The inbound freight from Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's K.P.D. railroads.
We left off with AP Train RF-3 on hold at the Rock Ridge Yard Limits due to a track issue in the Little Jamaica Interlocking. The issue has been resolved, reports have been filed with management, and trains will be on the move...
AP Train RF-3 is approaching Little Jamaica interlocking and has a chat with 1:87 tower operator Rich about today's moves on the secondary..
First move will be to drop a pair of box cars at Mike's Lumber...
Let's watch the move at Mike's Lumber....
Next drop are 3 reefers for C&P Restaurant Supply. They'll drop them on the secondary as cars are still unloading inside. There's been a lot of freight going in and out of C&P RS as of late...
Next stop is to drop off a pair of cars at Marcal. The crew was supposed to drop off a pair of covered hoppers from EC Cargilll. However, there was a reefer that the Freihofer folks haven't unloaded. That will cost them some money as the drayage charges start to add up in the next few days...
The crew pulls away the outbound cars from Marcal and drops off the pair of EB box cars...
Let's watch the crew drop those EB box cars.......
They put the BN reefer back at Freihofer and will be on their way....
Over at Rock Ridge East Yard, AP SD40-2 #3018, an EX NYS&W, with 1:87 scale engineer Norman in the seat along with his brakeman Jim, will make the moves over at Ideal...
M&E engines #18 & 19 with 1:87 scale Steve on board will help the guys get ready for the outbound cars to Ideal. They pull the caboose away from the engine so Norman can hook up to the auto parts cars...
Here's the overview for Ideal Auto Parts and AP Train RR-1...
M&E 18/19 gives the crew the train and train RR-1 will head out...
Back at the yard, AP RR-2 with AP MP15DC #105 has 1:87 scale Engineer NJ John making the short move today..
Here's the move for AP Train RR-2...
A quick stop at CP South to check in the tower operator....
And a short time later they're dropping those covered hoppers at Cargill....
It's a quick turn for John and he's back in the yard....
We turn our attention over to Ideal Auto Parts. Here's what's going to happen....
The moves are being made by the crew.... First, pull out the 2 outbound cars.....
Now start to position your inbound cars.
They drop the 86' box cars in Ideal...
The rest of the auto parts cars are on the secondary track that Ideal shares with Marcal and Freihofer. Actually, the call to do this is made by 1:87 scale Sir John who, while not on site has instructed the tower operator and Rock Ridge Yardmaster where to put these cars!
The cars are spotted and they'll head over to Rock Ridge Yard to drop off the 2 auto parts cars from Ideal...
The crew, running long hood forward head over to the yard....
We see how the rest of the cars are positioned outside of Ideal....
AP Train RF-3 is making it's way back to Rock Ridge Yard with the outbound cars from Marcal...
The crew is back in the yard and will set off the cars. Get their caboose and head out...
They have the signal and get ready to depart Rock Ridge Yard..
Meanwhile AP train RR-1 heads back to Rock Ridge Yard to drop off the pair of auto parts cars...
NJ John pulls the box cars from the engine...
...And AP 3018 with caboose in tow will head out to the engine terminal...
Both engines get ready to depart Rock Ridge Yard Limits...
AP #3017 starts up, and out they go!
The engines are heading to Richmond Hill Engine Terminal for servicing and fuel, where they will await their next assignment...
That's all of the inbound for P.C.C.M. #85 on the A.P.R.R. Make sure you check out the rest of the inbound and all of the action on Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's K.P.D. railroads.
Until next time!!

Acknowledge dispatch of APRR trains RF-3, RR-1, and RR-2.
West Mill out.
Happily only a short delay on the dispatch of RF-3! I really got a sense of the amount of industry around Rock Ridge Yard while following the various set outs and deliveries! Once again the APRR's size and long lengths of straight track easily accommodate ops with several large auto parts cars! Nice wrap up of the series down there in Rock Ridge!

Fine closing installment Sir Neal!!! BAR 11128 makes it first delivery on the APRR! EBRR 360279 and EBRR 360158 steal the spotlight at Marcal until AP SD40-2 #3018 showed up! Is this the 3018s virtual op debut? Nice work getting the inbound cars to their respective destinations!!!
