P.C.C.. #103 Part 5 - Inbound Train Arrives Rock Ridge

Welcome back to Penn Central Car Movement #103 - the inbound portion on the Atlantic Pacific Railroad. This is a three layout move with Sir John's New York Central Layout and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division Railroad

Today we start out in Rock Ridge Yard. The crew is preparing for an inbound train from Selkirk and Weehawken.

Penn Central Train VW-1, a daily Selkirk to Weehawken train, has picked up additional freight at Weehawken and is heading to Rock Ridge Yard. The PC and the AP have an agreement to assist in the movement of freight when needed. Motive power from Selkirk is an F7 A-B-B-A consist. They're being held at the signal for Little Jamaica...

And now can proceed with an approach to Rock Ridge Yard...

A great start to the inbound series with a pure A-B-B-A F7 set complete with sound and an F7 horn!!! These engines are a great addition to our virtual ops, looking and sounding great. VW-1 was an impressive 28 cars long showcasing the amount of PCCM tonnage being moved on all three layouts. The Rock Ridge Yard crews continue to be second to none on the PCCM world stage!!! Well done and I look forward to tomorrows installment!!
