New York New Jersey Ops #2 Part 7 - Last Of The Freight Moves Out Of Rock Ridge Yard

Welcome back to the conclusion of New York New Jersey Ops #2! Freight from the NYCTL has been delivered along with freight from other locations. Now, the APRR has some non-Ops freight cars that need to be sent out...

The APRR Rock Ridge Yard crew will build the train that the Penn Central will pick up and take to their Morrisville, PA yard for distribution...

Yardmaster NJ John gathers one more time Kai and Jim to build the train today...

Kai grabs engine #101 and a caboose to head over and pull a string of cars....

The cars are spotted on the outbound track...

Kai awaits the Penn Central crew...

Penn Central U25C #6513 pulls into Rock Ridge Yard and checks in with tower operator Rich T...

And arrives at CP Rock. This will make it easy for them to pick up the train...

They cut the caboose...

Jim C. grabs the caboose and will add it to the end of the train...

Kai drops the cars on the west ladder...

Penn Central 6513 hooks up to the string of cars. Six PS-2 covered hoppers will head to Atlas Cement in Bath, PA with fly ash. The eight reefers will go to Bell & Evans Chicken in Fredericksburg, PA. Bell & Evans is a supplier to ShopRite and we've heard thru the grapevine that C&P Restaurant Supply is interested in carrying their products!

A final set of orders picked up at CP South...

The signal at the yard limit is given to the crew. This is now Penn Central Extra 6513...

Next stop - Morrisville, PA!!

It's a wrap!! New York New Jersey Ops #2 is officially in the books!

Make sure you check Sir John's blog over at New York Central Train Layout!!

Nice job getting the freight traffic moving towards Morrisville and our consignees. Bell & Evans is in talks with Key Food and Consolidated Grocery Distributors to provide their excellent chicken products to the people of Empire City and the surrounding area. Great work all throughout the op Sir Neal!!! See you #3!!!
