A short time later, the PC crew arrives at the Rock Ridge Yard Limit...
Tower Operator at CP South Rich gives the crew the approach into Rock Ridge Yard via CP Rock, the northern end of the yard. Why is this important? It gives the yard crew better mobility to break down the train regardless of what ladder track they're on...
The crew powers down at CP Rock, the northern end of Rock Ridge Yard...
The PC crew cuts away from the train and moves out to CP South....

Meanwhile, 1:87 Engineer Steve and his pair of M&E 425 engines will work to break down the auto parts cars that were dropped on the secondary track at West Harold...

Back on the outbound yard limit track at Rock Ridge, PC train 3240 is ready to depart for Weehawken.

We now turn our attention back to West Harold Interlocking as Penn Central Extra 6510 with a pair of U25C engines await the signal...
And now they can proceed...

Rock Ridge East Yard has a variety of freight in the yard - Auto Parts cars for Ideal Auto Parts & Electronics as well as coal hoppers for R.M.O. Electric, ballast and sand hoppers for the AP's Richmond Hill Engine Terminal...
Steve drops the cars in the yard on track 3...
The PC crew will head out to Weehawken Yard for servicing once clearance is given to the crew...

We return once again to West Harold as Penn Central Extral3144 with 3 GP40 engines hauling another manifest train from Weehawken to Rock Ridge Yard...
The crew has the signal from tower operator Bill and is on the move...
PC Extra 3144 on the move to Rock Ridge Yard...!
A short time later, the crew arrives at the northern end of the yard. The crew checks in with NJ John so he can get them out quickly...
And quickly he does...!
