Welcome to the P.C.C.M. #36O Weehawken to Rock Ridge Yard.
If you've been following the P.C.C.M. on Ralph's fantastic Kings Port & Western Railroad
As well as John's superb New York Central Train layout
The Atlantic Pacific RailRoad (A.P.R.R) is now participating in the virtual op sessions.
Ralph has sent a cut of cars to the A.P.R.R. from his West Mill Yard, to Selkirk and down to Weehawken. Included in this cut are 2 KP&W cars with freight for the Three Amigos Warehouse & Storage.
The Weehawken yard is fairly busy, with cars ready to be sent out Rock Ridge
The A.P.R.R. has asked the PC to use their motive power to deliver the train to Rock Ridge. PC 3141/3111 is coupling up to the cars and heads out as train RO-1 Weehawken to Rock Ridge
As RO-1 approaches West Harold, a stop signal is displayed. This signal is controlled by the dispatcher located in Morristown NJ headquarters
An approach signal is finally given to RO-1 and he has permission to proceed to the next signal at Little Jamaica.
Train RO-1 is being held as another train has priority thru Little Jamaica.
RO-1 is now given the approach signal to Rock Ridge Yard
Train RO-1 has now entered Rock Ridge Yard thru the south approach. The yard is pretty full as you can see there's a string of PC covered hoppers waiting for another assignment.
The crew cuts away from the train and heads to the Richmond Hill Engine Terminal for refueling and maintenance.
Train RO-1 has been successfully delivered to Rock Ridge Yard where the Yardmaster will have a local train assembled, an engine assigned, and sent out to drop off much needed freight.
Next move - Rock Ridge to Three Amigos Warehouse & Storage.
Neal, an excellent inaugural post in the virtual ops! Motive power and rolling stock look superb! As always, I am very admiring of your signals such as those at West Harold which control the action. Nice highlighting of the PC covered hoppers and some A.P.R.R. cars and caboose! Looking forward to the set out at Three Amigos Warehouse!
ReplyDeleteNeal, Your PC GP40's leading the train with the KP&W cars looks great! Plus a bonus cameo with the new PC U25C. Looks like you're off to a good start with the virtual ops series.
