P.C.C.M. #61 Part 4 On The APRR

Greetings followers of the Atlantic Pacific Railroad and the Penn Central Car Movements!

P.C.C.M. #61 continues on the APRR with train WR-2 having arrived at Rock Ridge. There's 19 cars that need to be delivered in and around Rock Ridge as well as a Tropicana car that was shuttled over from the Tropicana plant in Ohio that will be stored in Rock Ridge until needed.

The first train to be assembled is the set of 6 coal hopper cars from Hudson Coal, which is located in Empire City on Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L.

AP RS-1 #201 comes off one of the west ladder tracks and will drop the cars on the Rock Ridge secondary  at R.M.O. Electric. The industry based switcher will then spot the cars on to the appropriate tracks.

The crew stops at CP South and tower operator 1/87th Rich gives them the train order and designates them RR-1, the R.M.O. Electric Turn.

The cars are run over to the power plant and dropped off for the GE 44 Toner to spot the cars.

Back over in the yard, the crew of AP #201 is not getting a rest.  Engineer 1/87th Steve gets the call to run the covered hoppers over to Cargill and then take lunch on the property. The local 'roach coach' traveling food truck will be there for you to have a bite to eat. Once you finish the meal, spot the cars then head home.

The train will hold outside Tropicana so the coal cars can be spotted. It's a busy secondary track, and the coal gets the priority!

1/87th NJ John is overseeing the operations for today at R.M.O. Electric. Three moves are required and switcher operator 1/87th JP knows this engine all too well. It was his first engine to be 'qualified' to run on the APRR.

Now that all of the coal cars are delivered, Train RC-2 will head over to Cargill

The inbound cars are getting spotted on Cargill Track 2

Lunch time!

That's all for this segment. Part 5 will be the wrap up with freight heading to C&P Restaurant Supply and Ideal Auto Parts.

There's still action going on as P.C.C.M. 61 continues on  Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L., along with PC Ralph's K.P. & W., as well as Brian's RCR Railroad

Stay tuned!
