Just a reminder that P.C.C.M. #63 is a three layout movement featuring two great Penn Central themed layouts; Sir John and the N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph and the KP&W!
We're going to pick up with Part 2 of PCCM 63 and the make up of train RW-1, which will depart Rock Ridge and head out to Weehawken. A crew change at Weehawken, maybe a motive power change, then depart for Selkirk. Final destinations are West Mill on the KP&W and Terminal Yard on the NYCTL.
The Official APRR photographer 1/87th Norman was in the yard doing some video for maintenance purposes and caught the yard switcher in action. I think he got a little too close...
Now to start the build of cars for the NYCTL...
The engines move up past the south entrance of the yard by South Tower..
The BAR car is pulled off east siding tack and added to the train
The PC caboose is added to the train. We're just about ready to head out...
Train RW-1 is at the yard limit waiting for a signal from the tower operator at Little Jamaica...
The approach signal is ready and train RW-1 will start to head to Weehawken for a crew change, then off to Selkirk where the train will be classified and sent on to the KPD and NYCTL.
Video of train RW-1 heading to Weehawken..
That's all for the outbound portion on the APRR. Don't forget to check back next weekend for the inbound segment on the APRR and the rest of the Penn Central Car Movements for their outbound and inbound moves...

West Mill out.
Great work setting up the train with cars for both layouts! I am enjoying your videos with the onboard engine sounds. Nice blocking by the Rock Ridge crew will expedite set-outs at West Mill!
Those GP-38-2's make for some nice head end power on RW-1. Enjoyed seeing the train getting put together at Rock Ridge. The PC Bay Window caboose makes for a nice finish to RW-1!
