P.C.C.M. #74 - Epilogue

While the latest P.C.C.M. is in the books on the Atlantic Pacific RR, there were a couple of out of state guests on the railroad.

The A.P.R.R. had a special day appearance for 1/87th John and 1/87th Ralph. 1/87th Neal, accompanied by the official 1/87th photographer Norman, were given a tour of the Richmond Hill Engine Terminal.

While 1/87th John has been advising the team, his responsibilities are back home on the N.Y.C.T.L.
1/87th Ralph, as well as 1/87th John were in for the day and of course, flown back on the A.P.R.R. Corporate Jet as Ralph needed to be back to oversee business on the K.P. & W.. John was dropped off after Ralph....

The guys were taken to Richmond Hill Engine Terminal aboard EB 8163, as they should be! A photo op is always in order and what better place to take them in the engine terminal! Norman is trying to get their attention by waving something that can only be thought of as a bottle of some soothing libation!

A walk on the turntable for a brief inspection, and of course another photo op!

The final photo opportunity of the visit is in front of the engine building with AP #303 in the first bay.

A quick ride back to the airport and the guys are on their way home...

This was a great P.C.C.M. by John and Ralph.

Keep checking back for more of our Penn Central Car Movements as well as new updates on the A.P.R.R.!!

1/87th scale Sir John sends his thanks to the entire staff of the A.P.R.R for their hospitality and the tour of their well kept facilities. It was a great day hobnobbing with 1/87th scale railroad dignitaries like Sir Neal and PC Ralph. A special thanks for showcasing a clean EB 8163 and using it as part of the tour.

    Terminal Yard out...
