Today we're going to build the train that will have freight for both Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's K.P. &W.
AP MP15 #105 with 1/87th Matt B. at the throttle along with brakeman 1/87th Stuart will build today's train.
First pull is a string of cars which include the Morton Salt car, EB gondolas, KP&W coal hoopers as well as a string of PC PS-2 covered hoppers that were dropped off by the Richmond Hill Engine Terminal crew. They'll head to T&R Gravel for sand to be used on the engines. T&R Gravel is the EXCLUSIVE supplier of Sand to the APRR...
The build begins...
The cars for the KP&W are being blocked so they can be added to another train at Selkirk with freight from other railroads..
1/87th Engineer Matt B, a veteran of a number of railroads has these moves made very quick and efficiently. Hoping his brakeman learns from him they had back to the yard office..
AP GP 38-2 #302 with 1/87th engineer Steve at the throttle and his sidekick brakeman 1/87th Bob (more like attached to the hip) pick up the train and head out to Weehawken and Selkirk. They'll layover at Selkirk and return with loads from the other railroads.
Next stop, Weehawken!!
Thanks for reading the outbound portion of P.C.C.M. #75 on the APRR. Make sure you check out the rest of P.C.C.M #75
