Welcome back to the final outbound part of Penn Central Car Movement #82 on the Atlantic Pacific Railroad!
MP15DC engines are on duty today in Rock Ridge Yard. AP #105 has 1:87 scale Engineer Dan, AP #106 has 1:87 scale Engineer Matt and AP #107 has 1:87 scale Engineer Mark doing all of the moves today. Over at Rock Ridge East Yard, SW1500 AP #100 with 1:87 scale Engineer Steve will be handling the duties for the second outbound train....
AP #106 will shove 6 freight cars to Rock Ridge Yard Outbound track #2...
Next move is AP #106 pulling a string of outbound cars for the N.Y.C.T.L.
AP #106 starts to head over to Rock Ridge Yard outbound track #2....
There's a lot of cars, so AP #105 hooks up to AP #106 for more horsepower. A pair of beasts!!
They cut away from the cars and head back to the yard. 1:87 scale NJ John hopped on the front of this train to insure there's no problems.....
Now back in the yard, NJ John tells the crew to drop a caboose on the end of that train! How they sent the cars out without adding the caboose boggles the mind!!
AP #107 will add the caboose to the train...
Here we see the crew add the caboose to the train...
The outbound train is ready. Motive power for the day is a pair of GE engines. AP #2370 & #2360 with 1:87 scale engineer Norman at the throttle. He awaits clearance from the tower operator at Little Jamaica...
He gets the signal and heads out as AP train RW-1 Rock Ridge to Weehawken. At Weehawken, there will be an engine and crew change as the Penn Central will take this train to Terminal Yard on the N.Y.C.T.L...AP train RW-1 on the move....!
Back over at Rock Ridge East Yard, 1:87 scale Engineer Steve will work the cars for AP #302, which is sitting outside the yard. He'll pull the caboose off the train, add his cars, put the caboose back on the train, which will head to Weehawken. At Weehawken, an engine and crew change will happen. They'll stop at West Mill, drop off the block of cars for the K.P. D. and then head on to Selkirk....
AP #100 adding the cars to the train....
The train has the cars for the K.P.D. added so it's ready to depart as AP Extra 302 Rock Ridge to Weehawken....
That concludes the outbound portion of P.C.C.M. #82 on the A.P.R.R. Don't forget to check out all of the action on Sir John's Incredible N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's Superb Kings Port Division Railroad!
Check back next week for the inbound portion of P.C.C.M. #82!

Terminal Yard out...
Another fine installment Sir Neal!!! I enjoyed the work performed by the switch engines including the tacking on of the caboose to train RW-1. Nice seeing AP79 bringing up the markers on Extra 302! I kept forgetting to mention that the PC green writing is a very nice tribute to the PC and I appreciated the acknowledgement seeing we started this PCCM on April 1st. Terminal Yard is standing by for the arrival of the freight cars sent out on Train RW-1!
