P.C.C.M. #82 Part 2 On The A.P.R.R. - Assembling The Outbound Trains

Welcome back to the continuation of Penn Central Car Movement #82 - a three railroad move with PC Ralph's Kings Port Division Railroad and Sir John's New York Central Train Layout

We're heading right into today's moves as we start to build the outbound trains. The crew is going to build two trains: One train will be for the N.Y.C.T.L. and the other will be a train with cars for both West Mill and some non-virtual op cars destined for Selkirk. AP MP15DC #107 and #106 will work the yard to build both trains. In the seat of #106 is 1:87 scale Mark and in #107 is 1:87 scale Dan. Both guys are qualified on these engines as they've both worked sister engine #105, which has been on the property for quite some time...

First move is to pull the 4 empty ballast cars and 2 40' EB box cars which are for the N.Y.C.T.L. train...

Some of the cars from the industries need to be moved around....

Here's a little highlight of the freight cars ready for the outbound train...

AP #105 with 1:87 scale engineer Norman at the throttle will bring some of the freight cars over to Rock Ridge East Yard where the train from AP train Morrisville, PA picked up some freight for Selkirk, NY.

A final check by 1:87 scale NJ John, who is overseeing all moves in the yard today. He is the senior man on the railroad when 1:87 scale Sir John is not on site....

AP #105 heads over to Rock Ridge East Yard as AP Train RE-10...

Here's AP #105 over at Rock Ridge East Yard...

AP train RE-10 sits on Rock Ridge East Yard track 1, dropping the cars. He'll head out back to the yard light...

We'll cut it here for today. Check back tomorrow for the conclusion of the outbound trains heading to Weehawken, West Mill, Selkirk, and Terminal Yard!

Don't forget to check out the outbound trains on Sir John's New York Central Train Layout and  PC Ralph's Kings Port Division Railroad!!

Acknowledge work of AP 106, AP 107 and AP 105 assigned to Train RE-10.

    Terminal Yard out...

The Rock Ridge Yard crew continues to efficiently move the freight in stylish locomotives!!! I'm enjoying seeing these switch engines working hard and earning their keep. I appreciated the nose to nose shot of AP106 and AP105 that showed me the differences between both locomotives. Nice work Sir Neal!!!

Another display of those good looking A.P.R.R. locomotives preparing to forward cars! Background buildings are filling in the scenes very nicely! That IS a nice shot of 105, 106, and 107 together! Perfect for full the A.P.R.R. Calendar! :)
