Welcome back to the continuation of Penn Central Car Movement #82 featuring my Atlantic Pacific Railroad, Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's Kings Port Division Railroad.
Today we're going to see the APRR yard crew build the trains that will be dispatched to deliver freight to the consignees in and around Rock Ridge Yard.
It's morning in Rock Ridge Yard and we see the inbound freight from Terminal Yard, West Mill and other railroads that are in the yard...
The crews will be blocking cars for the following local deliveries...
One block of freight cars for Marcal and Ideal Auto Parts, another block of cars for C&P Restaurant Supply and Three Amigos Warehouse, and a delivery for Cargill and R.M.O. Electric which will be handled by the Rock Ridge Yard switcher.
The MP15DC engines are ready for the work. AP 106 has 1:87 scale Dan at the throttle and AP 107 has 1:87 scale Matt in the seat....
We see a few cars being moved around in the yard. The LV box car will go on a block of cars that will have 3 box cars for Marcal. The Corning covered hopper will head out to Pennsylvania Glass Sand Millville Plant in Cumberland, NJ. It will go out on the next AP local heading south....
The PC 50' Box car from Terminal Warehouse will head over to Marcal with a pair of AP box cars from Moore & Co. loaded with bulk paper. The PC Hi-Cube box car from Bruce Electric will be spotted at American Hardware while they're blocking other cars in the yard..
Here's the spot of the PC box car at American Hardware...
The moves continue...
Let's watch the crew block the cars for Marcal....
I think the engineer needs a little more training after that move....
Next, AP 58260 with furniture from Superior Funiture will head over to Three Amigos Warehouse along with a pair of KP&W box cars from Zenith TV on the Kings Port Division Railroad..
The KP&W coal cars will head over to R.M.O. Electric with the Hostess covered hopper to get a load of grain...
There's the KP&W box cars! The crews are moving freight so quickly and efficiently that 1:87 scale Norman, the official APRR photographer is having a tough time keeping up with the moves!
Let's watch the crew block the cars for the 2 industries on the Rock Ridge Secondary...
The guys are done for today. AP 106 had a good run and kept things moving in the yard...
We'll cut it here for today. Tomorrow we'll wrap up the series with the freight being delivered to the consignees in and around Rock Ridge..
Thanks for reading!

AP106 and AP107 doing a fine job keeping the always bustling Rock Ridge yard fluid and delivering the freight cars to the yard limits consignees. Very impressive seeing those engines keeping the yard in order. Another fine installment that leads us to the grand finale! Nice job Sir Neal!!

I'm a great admirer of all of the industry around Rock Ridge Yard that provides so many switching opportunities! Nicely performed and I liked the set-out videos! Great work by good lookin' APRR switchers #106 & 107!
