Welcome back to the continuation of the inbound portion of Penn Central Car Movement #110 on the Atlantic Pacific Railroad. Today the AP Yard crew will build a few trains that will go out for deliveries around Rock Ridge Yard as well as some deliveries within Rock Ridge Yard and the industrial district.
Engineer Kai is in AP SW-1 #110 and will work with the yard crew and get things going....
PC Car 142770 from Superior Furniture will get delivered to Three Amigos Whse. with furniture...
We see 4 gondolas from Gervais Pipe that will get delivered to Shapeless Steel...
Kai starts building the train on the west ladder. The yard crew picked up a caboose from ladder track #1...
AP GP38-2 #307 will take hold of the train and when ready to depart, will be designated as AP Train #RT-2....
The yard crew moves into position and will tie down the train until ready to depart...
AP GP38-3 #303 will work the inbound cars for C&P Restaurant Supply. They'll be getting 6 57' reefers from Birdseye Foods with frozen produce. BAR 7574 from Empire Produce has a reefer full of produce and PC 300063 from Canton Box with packaging supplies. C&P Restaurant Supply is a one stop shop for many supermarkets and convenience stores in the greater Rock Ridge area as well as other areas in the country...
That BAR orange reefer will get dropped off at ShopRite with produce from Empire Produce...
The yard crew, supervised by NJ John, has another train ready to head out...
The yard crew will move this train, which will head out as AP Train RC-4, over to the outbound track by CP South...
Meanwhile, there are a number of cars that need to be delivered to ShopRite. Swift Reefer #4322 from Swift & Co. Lawrence, MA has frozen meats, and an HRC 40' Box car from C&P will get moved over to ShopRite for loading
KP&W 40' box car #15638 from the Port Owen Brick Co. will be delivered to American Hardware. Kai will make these moves at once...
Kai drops off the cars for ShopRite....
...then shoves back to the first set of loading doors the KP&W box car!
Kai hasn't stopped there. A pair of AP RBL box care from Moore & Co. will be put on the train that will service Marcal Paper and a pair of reefers from C&P Restaurant Supply will get dropped off at Freihofers...
Looks like the crew has ANOTHER local being built. This one has a Tropicana reefer from A&P in Brookyn and a trio of PC RBL box cars from International Paper for Tropicana. Those loaded KP&W coal hoppers will be set off at R.M.O. Electric...
Hostess Bakeries in Empire City sent over their covered hopper for more wheat from Cargill...
AP SW1500 #100 will take all of these cars over to the Rock Ridge Industrial Complex as train RI-3. JP takes a look at his train on the rear of the engine and will head out
First stop for JP is Cargill...
Last drop off is at R.M.O. Electric with the loaded coal hoppers...
Meanwhile, back at the yard, Kai is still working on the cars that will head out. Those AP RBL cars still need to be moved...
Looks like he has everything under control...
The moves are made and Kai is finished for today...
We see the last train assembled for today will be the local train for Marcal and Freihofers. Once cleared for movement, they'll set out tomorrow as AP train RE-6...
Today's moves are completed. Tomorrow the AP Yard crew will send out the freight for consignees at C& Restaurant Supply, Three Amigos Warehouse, Shapeless Steel, Marcal and Freihofer's Bakeries!
Don't forget to follow the inbound action over at Terminal Yard on Sir John's NYCTL Railroad and the action over at Kings Port & West Mill on PC Ralph's Kings Port Division Railroad

Whew... That was a lot of work getting the PCCM traffic moving to their consignees!!! The AP crew once again handles the jobs safely and efficiently. A very impressive tutorial on how to run a crowded freight yard!!! I enjoyed seeing how all of the PCCM freight cars were sorted, blocked and sent on their way in Train RT-2 and RC-4. The road trains continued the fine work making their deliveries. Very nice work Sir Neal!!!

If the Kings Port Railfan Society were in Rock Ridge today I'm not sure how they would manage to cover all of the action at the busy yard! Several locals dispatched and yard switchers performing duties all day long! Nice work setting up trains to deliver the PCCM cars!
