NJ John has the crew at the ready as two trains will be heading out to Terminal Yard. First train will have freight from Marcal and C&P Restaurant Supply...
Penn Central U25C #6513 arrives at Rock Ridge Yard via CP Rock...
He's now at the south end of the yard as the crew will add 13 freight cars to the train...
The crew picks up their freight...
...and passes CP South tower. They will depart as Penn Central Extra 6513 East...
Now at the yard limits, they await the signal...
And now depart Rock Ridge Yard...
Next stop, Terminal Yard!!
The trio of AP 60' auto parts cars were moved earlier due to storage space at Ideal. Nothing at the plant is sensitive or perishable so the moves were made...
Along with some covered hoppers and 40' box cars...
Penn Central U25C engines #6510 & #6517 have arrived at the Yard Limit. Tower operator 1:87 Rich T will route them into the yard...
Penn Central Extra 6510 East is gathering the freight cars...
Extra 6510 East gets the signal at CP Rock...
Tower Operator Rich T clears the train to depart...
Next stop, Terminal Yard!
This concludes the outbound portion of our initial NY-NJ Op session. Next week we'll start the inbound portion of our Op Session.

Kudos to the APRR management, crew and dispatcher for getting the Extra 6513 and 6510 moving out of the yard promptly and onto the mainline. The U-Boat fleet is getting the limelight this weekend!!! Nice seeing the PC U25Bs hauling the NY-NJ traffic from Rock Ridge Yard to Terminal Yard. The Terminal Yard crew had their yard in order and will be ready to receive both trains. A very nicely done outbound finale!!! See you on the inbound!!!
