Welcome back to the continuation of NY-NJ Ops #3 on my Atlantic Pacific Railroad. Today the crew will start to send out some freight from Terminal Yard and the NYCTL.
Yardmaster NJ John gets the crew ready for today's runs. C&P Restaurant Supply is on the docket as well as yesterday's Train RW-4 that's sitting by C&P...
Kai drops off Mark and he'll depart shortly....
A short time later, Mark is at CP Rock. He's that much closer to ending the run. All he's waiting on is the outbound to C&P to move out of the yard...
AP GP38-2 #300 will make the run to C&P Restaurant Supply with 6 reefers and 2 box cars. Engineer Jim W. has the honors. This engine is the first GP38-2 to arrive on the APRR property...
Jim works on his train getting the reefers...
Jim C pulls the 2 box cars and will leave the LV box car in the yard...
The train is just about ready to head out...
Jim grabs the caboose and the yard crew gives them the 'OK' to head out...
Rich T gives him some last minute orders as well as his train ID, which, by the way is RC-7...
Awaits the signal from Little Jamaica Tower Operator Bob...
...And heads out!
AP Train RC7 heads out...
A short time later Jim's at C&P Restaurant Supply. He's waiting for Bob over at the tower to give him the sidings...
Meanwhile, Mark finally made it into the yard!!
Mark drops his train and lets Kai and Jim C. handle the cars...
The caboose is cut...
Jim finishes dropping the cars. Those reefers you see will head back to Bell & Evans Poultry in PA on the next outbound train to Allentown...
Mark ties down on East Ladder track 2...
Jim W. starts his work...
AP Box cars get dropped on C&P track 2...
AP & EB reefers get dropped on track 1...
Jim will return to the yard caboose lite...
A short time later he's back at the yard limit...
The signal from Rich T at CP South is up...
A quick stop to thank Rich...
And he ties down on East Ladder track 4...
We'll cut it here for today. Tomorrow the rest of the freight will be delivered to Shapeless Steel, Freihofer's and a few others in and around Rock Ridge Yard.
Thanks for reading!

Well done Sir Neal!!! Happy to see engineer Mark returning to the RW-4 and finally getting back into Rock Ridge Yard with his train. Train RC-7 faired much better delivering the large block of NY-NJ freight cars to C&P Rest Supply without outlawing!!! As always a splendid job by the crew running the yard and the trains. Looking for to the next installment!!!
