Back over at Rock Ridge Yard, another intra-layout is happening. KP&W 15638 is being picked up and will be brought over to Shapeless Steel to pick up some banding. The car will sit in the yard until they call for it..

While pulling KP&W 15638, there are 3 RBL box cars and a reefer at ShopRite that need to be pulled for the KP&W train. The three B&M box cars are empty and will head back to Eastern States Plywood on the B&M, its home road...

P.C.C.M. #93 Part 2 On The A.P.R.R. - The .N.Y.C.T.L.Build Begins And More!

Welcome back to the continuation of Penn Central Car Movement #93 - a three layout move!

We continue with the outbound part on my Atlantic Pacific Railroad as we ready the freight for Terminal Yard on the N.Y.C.T.L. Here we go...!

We left off with AP #303 in the yard with some freight cars for the the K.P.D. Today's crew in the cab is 1:87 Scale Jim with one of the yard crew conductors. They will bring the cars over to Rock Ridge East Yard...

They have the signal and will drop the cars for the M&E crew to pick up and then head back to the yard..

The cars are dropped off outside Rock Ridge East Yard..

Jim is now back in the yard. Normally the engine goes back to the engine terminal for assignment, but they're going to tie down in the yard..

Looks like we have another GP38-2 engine over at West Harold Interlocking. We find 1:87 Scale Stuart in the cab. He's finally cleared double secret probation and they gave him an engine and conductor. 1:87 Scale conductor Bill will keep an eye on him. Bill is another railroad veteran. Sir 1:87 Neal chose Bill as he's a no nonsense guy and will let him know if he slips up...

There are 4 cars that need to be picked up at Three Amigos Warehouse. Two of the KP&W box cars will be brought to the yard and then moved over to American Hardware in Rock Ridge along with the Penn Central Hi-Cube box car. This is another intra-layout move. PC 160502 will go to Battaglia Bros. Warehouse on the K.P.D.

Here's the move. Let's see how Stuart makes this happen...

It looks like Stuart made the moves without damage to property of bodily harm...

Stuart and Bill head back to Rock Ridge Yard...

The guys arrive and check in at CP South with tower operator 1:87 Scale Rich...

The job is done and Stuart heads into the office. I guess to use the rest room or see if his time card is still there??

Meanwhile AP #105 with 1:87 the local yard crew get eready to make more moves to block the cars for the N.Y.C.T.L. Their going to build the Bedford Block , but need to move some other cars around in order to give it to the Terminal Yard crew as requested...

The Bedford Block had the Morton Sale covered hopper for Ronzoni as part of the LIRR Block, so that got moved as well...

Let's watch the move for the Bedford Block

The LIRR Block has the reefers for C&P, Ronzoni and a trio of AP gondolas with scrap steel from the Richmond Hill Engine Terminal and they will get taken to Gershow for proper disposal...

Here we see AP #105 drop the gondola cars on the track that holds the LIRR Block...

The spots are completed and the crew awaits the next assignment...

A few other cars remain in Rock Ridge Yard, which will be moved the next day. Stuart will need to drop the four cars he pulled on some of the ladder tracks. He thought is day was done! Not so Stuart!! The four cars are dropped on track 9...

Now Stuart can breathe easier as the day is done...

That's all for today. Tomorrow we'll get the train for Terminal Yard on the N.Y.C.T.L. on the road and finish the moves for the K.P.D. train..

Don't forget to follow the outbound trains from Sir John's N.Y.C.T.L. and PC Ralph's K.P.D. railroads!
