Welcome to the continuation of Penn Central Car Movement #110 on the Atlantic Pacific Railroad. Today the crew will head out to industries around Rock Ridge and gather freight cars that will be sent out to both the N.Y.C.T.L. and the KP&W/ KPD Railroads.

Kai and Jim will be on AP MP15 #106/107 working Ideal Auto Parts, Marcal and Freihofer Bakeries as train RE-4...

Mark and Steve will work Shapeless Steel, Three Amigos Warehouse and C&P Restaurant Supply as train RS-1...

The crew pulls some PCCM and non-PCCM cars for Marcal and Freihofers...

Tower operator Rich gives them their work orders and sends them out...

A stop at Little Jamaica tower Ken gets them ready to make their moves on the secondary tracks...

They drop the inbound cars and prepare to pull the outbound cars...

The LV box car will head to Pilgrim State on the NYCTL with a car load full of baked cookies and more...

The non-PCCM cars will get moved into place for loading...

AP Train RE-4 heads back to the yard...

Meanwhile, AP 303 gets ready to depart the yard. NJ John tells them some last minute details and cuts them loose...

As AP 303 leaves, AP 106/107 arrives back in the yard...

AP #110 the SW-1 has JP making the moves. JP is another one of the APRR senior engineers...

JP starts to break down and classify the train...

AP Train RS-1 stops at CP South to get his last minute orders from tower operator Rich...

The signal is up and they're on the way...

They pull on to the West Harold Secondary to start their work...

The EL box car will head to Cavendish Foods with food products and the Penn Central box car will to Battaglia Bros. Warehouse with stored materials; both via the KPD...

The crew are pulling a trio of non-PCCM NYC box cars that will head to the yard for storage...

Next stop is Shapeless Steel...

Over at Shapeless Steel are three empty APRR gondolas for Gervais Pipe and a pair of PC gondolas with steel slabs for Mid Island Steel on the NYCTL. The EBRR gondola will head to Hudson valley Co-op with pipes via the KPD...

They pick up the rest of the cars and head over to C&P Restaurant Supply...

A pair of APRR box cars and the TP&W box car with packaged food will go to Ralph's Grocery. The EL and NP box cars will go over to Freihofer and the 40' HRC box car will head over to ShopRite for loading for the next PCCM move...

AP train RS-1 heads back to Rock Ridge Yard...

A short time later, the boys arrive back at CP for routing into the yard...

The engine pulls up and JP starts his work from the rear of the train...

JP knows which cars will head out first and makes his moves accordingly...

Next pull are the gondolas...

The EB gondola gets spotted with the cars for the KPD...

The rest of the gondolas get spotted on the track for the NYCTL...

The rest of the cars are pulled as AP 303 backs up a little as the caboose will be put on to the engine before departure...

Cars are being spotted...

JP shoves the caboose back to #303...

The boys are ready to depart the yard for Richmond Hill Engine Terminal for servicing...

Engine 303 heads out to Richmond Hill Engine Terminal caboose lite! Notch 8!!

We'll hold it here for today. Tomorrow we'll get the 2 trains on the road to Weehawken; 1 for the KP&W and 1 for the NYCTL.

Don't forget to follow the outbound action on Sir John's Incredible N.Y.C.T.L Railroad and PC Ralph's Amazing KP&W Railroad.

    West Mill out.

Orange and black locomotives all over the scene getting the job done at several industries! It really is a well coordinated series of movements at Rock Ridge! Larger boxcars and a string of gondolas seem to be the rolling stock theme of the day! Great stuff!

    Terminal Yard out...

Nice job gathering up all the PCCM freight cars from the Rock Ridge industries along with the non PCCM traffic. Some serious car movements this day with the APRR crews getting it done in fine fashion. The yard crews were kept busy by the steady arrival of freight cars and will need their A game in the next post. Nice work Sir Neal!!!
